It has been but the zeitgeist is changing. I was born on a farm in 1939. Have been in gardens since diapers. In the field since 11. I can rebuild an engine, or train a horse to harness. And speaking of fucking, I grow several herbs for birth control and abortion.

Turns out, archeologists have taken modern forensic gear into obscure museums to look at the pots of ancient witches, and from the residue and pollen, have rediscovered something of what they were cooking up.

Power is an aphrodisiac, and young women look at all the above, and they see power that will give them much more control over their lives if the animals break out of the zoo.

YMMV, but there are parts of the temperate zone that can grow enuf food, manage the birth rate, and cut enuf firewood for the winter, and do it all without help from the global economy and oil. Outside of the Amish, most of the expertise to do all this is in bald gray heads like mine.
