It was just a matter of time until Microsoft and Internet Explorer put them out of
business.....AAC

I've been tinkering with computers since about forever. The ONLY time a version of Netscape worked correctly on any computer I EVER had was once when I had IBM's OS/2 running a protected version of Windows which was then forced to get along with Netscape....

I think it was the first version of Windows 95... I was having HUGE problems. Almost every day something was crashing. My I_Hate_Windows friends were telling me they hate Windows, they hate Microsoft, they hate Bill Gates, etc. So I tried an experiment. I formatted the hard drive. I reloaded the OS. I loaded ONLY Microsoft stuff. Not ANY other software. It didn't matter what the application was, if Microsoft had it I used it even if it lacked features that a non-MS application had.

No problems. Not ONE problem.

Another week. Not ONE problem.

Another month. Not ONE problem.

I've never looked back.

Everybody has been whining about Vista. I switched to Vista about a year ago. I'm having NO problems. I've had exactly ZERO Vista problems.

I absolutely SWEAR the secret is to AVOID 3rd-party piece-of-*** software whenever possible.

Oh, there are two other 'secrets':

1) If you don't know what you're doing don't do it.

1-a) If you don't know what will happen when you click that button don't click that button.
