ROME -- More people were put to death last year _ 5,628 _ than in either of
the previous two years, with China alone accounting for 5,000 executions, an
anti-death penalty group reported Thursday.

Question is; how many of these people were innocent and how many of
the guilty are still free? The exhonorated head count in the USA is
over two hundred--thanks to DNA testing. It goes to show how
effective the American criminal justice system is at disposing
innocent people. Hell, they are better at it than the murderers they
try in their courts!!!

200!? That's tiny compared to the prison population over time.
