Letter to Barbara Bush

My dear Barbara,
Years ago you were in Orange County, California, and we, the
Piecemakers, gave you a quilt - a token of our respect for you. You
graciously wrote to us. We kept it also as token of your graciousness.
Now I am asking a favor of you and Laura. A favor not for me
or the Piecemakers, but for our country.
Recently I was sentenced to ten days in jail. I am 86 years old. I
will send you a video of the treatment I got on my property from
twenty-six police and thugs working for our government. I will not go
into detail of the inhuman authority of these criminals.
God is as real to me as you, Laura and my family. He ordered
my footsteps into that hell hole so I could see the treatment of His
people. I cannot go into the inhuman treatment these young people -
the America of tomorrow - are getting. If we do not do something we
all will suffer greatly.
I pray for your son/ husband continuously - travailing and
weeping over his lack of respect for the protective laws. Guantanomo
Bay is right here in California with the recidivism 70%. They go in a
human being and come out a zombie with no will to live.
I pray for you also. Now that you have heard my plea you are
responsible for some kind of action.
Respectfully yours,
Marie Kolasinski
P.S. This common cause will unite you and Laura, and all of your
family.
.
