I said it before, and I'll say it again....



The only VIABLE solution to the energy situation and (if there is
such a thing) the Global warming issues is the wholesale commitment to
Nuclear energy.
50% of all greenhouse gases are emitted by structures, most of the
rest to autos. As structures are static, the can receive a regular
supply of electrical power to fuel heaters and AC.

There ARE electric cars that can travel 250 miles on a charge and at
todays electrical rates, can be charged for $5, U.S (In your garage or
@ a "Fueling point". That converts to 50 miles for a dollar or 150
miles for $3, the appx, price for a gallon of gasoline. And they are
relatively peppy.
The source of fuel and the technology is there. Too bad nuclear
energy is the "Stem cell research" of the Greenies. When will we
learn to take advantage of what we have instead of spinning in place
being tooled by 3rd world countries and making some rich at cost of
the general population.
