We hear a lot about Internet advertising -- pop-up ads, ads in the margins
of websites, bulk e-mail advertising everything from the Nigerian scam to
real products.
I have NEVER:
-- responded to a pop-up (except to turn on my pop-up blocker)
-- followed an advertising link
-- purchased anything over the Internet as a result of an Internet ad
I ignore Internet advertising and everyone I know says they do the same.
So -- the question is: Do people REALLY make purchases as a result of
pop-ups, e-mails, and other Internet advertising??
AFAIAC, it's a lot of horse*** that clutters my screen.
20% something people still support Bush.
