That structure has already been completed, unless you are talking
about a new one. It clearly shows we have long-term interest. I have
a bad feeling that we may be putting the cart before the horse.
Let us cut to the chase, yes? The reason we are building such
things is because we are interested in the region for the sake of
dwindling oil. That computer you're using to post, all the plastic
parts are made from oil. Would you feel any better if Bush was
telling you the truth yet doing the same thing? Are you willing to
give up your way of life? I'm not. The energy wars have begun.

Then again, you could always just buy the oil at the spot price. What
else is anyone going to do with it but sell it?

No need to make a $1.2 billion dollar deposit for that.

You could spend the money making a biodiesel or butanol. But no ...

This is just an expensive political face-saving exercise. Nothing at
all to do with protecting the right of Americans to drive their SUVs.
