Fully agree.
However bad you might have thought Carter,
Bush has won the prize now, even before his inept
admin is ended.

Historians will shake their heads in amazement at the
justifications, rationalizations and "explanations" that
Bush has made for the war - while turning his back
and ignoring America's real problems for as long as he could.

Too bad that immigration bill is being openly debated,
now the real anti middle class politicians, on both sides
of the aisle are being exposed.

As for Carter, his book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, which
exposes obstructionists on both sides of the conflict,
is excellent. I knew I wanted to read it right away
when an army of hysterical detractors sprung up to dennounce
it virtually as soon as it appeared - a sure sign that he
was right on the mark.
