Re: Love, a problem for evolutionists

Evolution says that the species of the earth have evolved as the
stronger species survived and the weakest species died off. Sounds
logical...right? Are you sure?

Consider the world around you. Is that how the world works, or do the
strong (or rich) often protect or provide for those in need? In fact
they do. We have more charities than we have politicians or lawyers.
EVERY church has some community mission project they are providing to
take care of the hungry or needy in their congregation or outside.
The US and other rich countries are providing Billions to care for the
poor countries of the world, so much...in fact...that it harms their
own ability to survive. This quality is called "sacrifice." We have
recognized this quality of virtue for thousands of years, and the
highest honors always goes to those that gave from their wealth or
health to protect or provide for those in needs, whether they be
knights, monks, Rockefeller for founding the UN, or the policeman or
fireman that dies in the line of service. In EVERY case of this
giving, the weak survived at the suffering or death of the strong.
Similarly, Christ (the ultimate strong) died for sinners (the ultimate
weak) for salvation (the ultimate sacrifice).

However, this is not only a quality found in the human realm.
Animals, too, show this quality. Parent animals will risk their lives
for their "weak" young. Untrained dogs will risk their lives to
protect their young children owners. So, sacrifice is found in the
wild, too.

But, if humans and animals have a continual history of sacrificing the
strong for the weak, how can it be true that evolution is true, since
it requires the opposite to be true? Answer: it cannot be true
without ignoring the human and animal nature of love.

How does this shut down evolution in arthropods, the most diverse form
of life there is? Why do you feel the need to attack evolution? Does
it make you doubt the creation myth? That's what it is, you know, a
myth. I tell you what. If you feel you have the ability to challenge
evolution then I want you to scientifically prove the creation myth of
the Bible is accurate. I want names, dates, archeological sites and
the untainted results of your carbon testing.
Here's a crazy idea: maybe you can believe in God AND science. Whoa!
