I disagree. As far as I'm concerned, Pluto is still a planet.
If you read up on some things NASA has done (the satellite with dual
core nuclear reactors being flown into the Jupiter atmosphere... etc),
it's clear that there's some weird thinking behind a lot of it. I
would suggest that maybe in their cosmology, they "need" an 8 planet
solar system, rather than 9.
