I think this whole privacy stuff is getting a bit out of hand. I think
many people who are complaining about their privacy being stolen
because they are just going along with the media following herd. They
feel like they are of an actual importance in the decisions made in the
state and don't really care if what they are objective to may save
their asses in their time of need in their pathetic entity. And anyway,
if you haven't got anything to hide, and the NSA isn't disclosing your
conversations to rivals of yourself then what the hell is the big
problem? Stop whining, and work or something. Do the objectors have
nothing else to do other than interfere with matters of national
safety? And even if they aren't using the data for counterterrorism or
anything remotely useful, is there even any harm done to you then? No
there isn't. If I am wrong on my thoughts, I would love someone to tell
me so, and state why so, so I can escape this miasma of misery and
media sheep.

I'll show you why you're wrong, and why we should all give a "crap" if we
call ourselves Americans.

You obviously, for some reason have no thirst for privacy.
Thats fine, but this does not start or stop with just privacy, it has a
deeper grain.

It's about the LIBERTY to enjoy our privacy. America is Life Liberty and the
Persuit of Happiness, in case you forgot the reason why we have a place
called America. If you capitulate to the goverment our basic liberties, you
give them the inch where the mile begins.

Do you really want America to begin the slide down the slippery slope of the
erosion of our basic liberty to enjoy our right to privacy? I see in your
post the many reasons why you dont give a crap about the inch you already
relinquished. But what I dont see is any reference to the fundamental
America that we should hold above any reason to compromise what we have
struggled for for the last 230 years. Life, Liberty and the Persiut of
Happiness was not a gift to Americans, it was a long bloody battle.

If our American fathers would have thought like you, we would now be serving
the British Crown.

Fortunalty, we had Fathers & Revolutionaries who had courage and wanted
Liberty above anything. Perhaps someday you will be as courageous as them
and not be so willing to give away what they gave to you.

I cant even call you an American, much less a patriot.
People like you are trying to destroy this nation and everything She stands
for, and what a shame that will be.
