We didn't lose in Vietnam, we surrendered just like the civilians want us
to do now.

In a democracy, the failure to keep the civilians motivated in a war is a
loss! You lost! We lost! Because we had bad policy Vietnam lost! We
didn't lose a single battle in Vietnam..........not really. They gave us
everything they had and we turned it back........but they had the strength
to reform..........we didn't. That is a loss! If you can't concentrate on
that last important battle that has to be won, you doom our country to a
repetition of the past. As the neo-con used to irritate me while they were
justifiying mistakes that cost American lives today used to
say..................."it is not helpfull" .....................to win all
these battles but the last one.

It is a little worse than silly to lose this way and focus on how well you
fought the battles that you did win. Santa Anna won at the Alamo........but
he lost the hearts and minds of the Texans. He lost the war! He had
military superiority without any question, but the battle was between the
minds of the leaders and Sam Houston was the superior mind with a vision
that Santa Anna lacked.

And all that got us is just more trouble.

What gets America in trouble is standing against the will to self-determine.
We did it in Iran. We've done it in South America for decades. That always
makes some special interest of the moment richer....but long term hurts our
country in huge ways. I stand against those things.

And you can harp on Bin
Laden and WMDs all you want.

If I harp on Bin Laden, it is because he is a symbol of the lies and
failure. I am really most against the lies and failure. Yeah! I mention
Bin Laden.........but I am not afraid to mention the real failures of the
neo-cons. They fail to tell the truth! They fail to have vision! They fail
to have economic policy that promotes a stable future. You worry about
Euros..................Sheeesh! If Bush didn't destroy the dollar with
debt, he wouldn't have to worry about the Euro. You keep missing the real
points...........the deeper ones.

Bin Laden is a weak and flawed symbol of resistence to CIA interests. Some
CIA interests are the same as America's........but some are more slanted to
the military/industrial complex elite they represent. Weak as Bin Laden is,
he harmed America. He should have been brought down.

That's NOT why we went to war. We went to war
because Sadaam was about to sell his oil and base it's price on the EURO
and if he did that America would sink in 3 days. Now, isn't it a
coincidence, Iran is telling the world THEY will tie the price of their
oil to the EURO. And guess what Chavez said he was going to do with all
that Venezuelan oil? Just watch. We'll be at war with them within a year.
Bin Laden, WMDs and 911 was just a diversion.

What dollar are you talking about, the ten trillion dollars that we
owe?..............those dollars don't exist? Do you think six trillion new
dollars of obligation in the future is less a threat to America than a
strong Euro? Chavez has offered to sell us $50 a barrel oil on a long term
contract. He wants to develop his country in a way that benefits those
that ELECTED him. He doesn't want to be an enemy, but Bush's neo-cons think
they need enemies like Chavez. Bush and the CIA have already failed to turn
that country back into a feudal state. There are no free market economies,
and there are no pure socialist economies! Most of those other American
countries have been kept in a feudal state for the sake of the rich locals
and the fat bankers in America. That's what the CIA does! It doesn't
protect democracy; it plots against it. When a democratic people begin to
rise above the exploitation, the CIA and the bankers immediately cry
"Communist! Communist!".

I believe in people and self-determination; the CIA does not! I believe in
free markets.......even in countries that think they are communist. If they
are left to fail at their experiments, they will fail and know why they
fail. If we press our great power against them, they will fail but think
their failure is due to our interference rather than inefficiency of their
system. So they will continue their insanity.

We won WWII.............that was before the CIA! Now we don't win wars, we
lose them..........or if you prefer........we surrender!
I watched a Russian put a coin in a water machine, then hold a common metal
cup under a spigot to get a coin's worth of water. I saw a reverse image of
an American logo reproduced on a print circuit board made in Russia. I knew
then Russia was not the equal power the CIA and military/industrial special
interest had been scaring me with for years. I knew when I saw that Russian
drink from a common cup at a high-tech water machine that they would fall
soon. Less than a year later the Soviet Union collapsed...... The CIA were
caught unaware. I was impressed by the Russians........but not by the CIA.
The Soviet Union failed because it didn't have the market efficiency to hold
up against us in an arms race. Yeah, the Soviet Union fell in that race,
but we were weakend by the expenditure. It left us vulnerable to the
countries of production and the countries of large oil supply. If we had
diverted those assets to energy technology rather than war technology, we
might have been energy self-sufficient like Brazil.

We won WWII because if a pilot like George H.W. Bush could survive getting
shot down, we could put him in a brand new plane. Now we face a potential
enemy in China. As a communist experiment, they were too big for us to
attack directly. They were allowed to fail at their own economic
experiments and now are on the move. They do not cripple themselves with
awkward intellectual property rights like we do in the west. We have
computer programs that hang up and crash because of propriatary protection.
The Chinese can take a program written by someone else and adapt it to their
own needs. We have to work within the license provided and pay a royality
for that. If the license doesn't allow us to tweak the copyrighted program
for more efficient production we are stuck with inefficiency or the threat
of a lawsuit.

We could learn something about free market from the Chinese.

As the individual Chinese rip off the shackels of restriction..........they
will be unstoppable as an economic power!

America doesn't need more strength. She needs needs vision! She needs
intelligence! If the CIA had any worth at all, that would be the message
from them.........but it is not! They are too stupid to recoginze what we
really need. Instead they opt for a renewal of the nuclear programs and
billions more for a stronger military when we are already so much stronger
than any other as to endanger the balance of power that historically keeps
the peace. Strong military power falls completely apart when its enemy has
vision, intelligence, resolution, and a determination to self-determine.
No, if there is a CIA of vision it is not to be seen at the moment.

First, don't bother responding if you're an internet
phony with a cute name. To my way of thinking,
you're starting out as a liar and not worth my time.

What this country needs is a government in which
there are two four year term limits for everybody,
no contributions of any kind to anyone that the
contributor can NOT vote for, no retirement plan
for politicians and no taxpayer money to anyone
that can not vote and no taxpayer funded grants
to anyone, only loans that must be paid back at
the private sector rate of interest.
And I submit to you that it is YOUR fault for not insisting
that we have such a system.

I've made a New Year's Resolution to be a more
cheerful, agreeable and congenial person. So
shut the hell up and get off my case!
