Why do rightwankers say stupid stuff??

Okay, the dumbest man in the House of Representatives has now spoken. Dana
Rohrabacher has said "Let prisoners pick fruit."
Let's see if I understand this. It costs a state anywhere from $20,000 to
$40,000 per year to keep someone in the slammer. So, instead of paying
immigrants $5.50 an hour for part of a year when fruit is in season and is
being picked, we are going to pay prisoners $40,000 a year to pick fruit.
No one ever said you had to be smart to be a rightwanker -- in fact, it
appears that being stupid is the most common qualification.
