Denver has always been blue, while totally surrounded by red. City
people are always blue, from having their heads up their asses.

They're blue because they're generally better educated, aware of
what's going on around them and in the world, and cherish social
progress and and diversity.

As opposed to Republican white trash, whose base consists largely
of high school dropouts, dittoheads, security soccer moms, religious
fundamentalists and homophobes.

Or put in simple terms even you can understand, it's good vs evil.
Knowledge vs. ignorance. Tolerance vs. intolerance. True freedom
and patriotism vs. fear and terror.
