When our military is playing outside their sandbox, I tend to agree.
However, I think the light bulb (or LED if you prefer) will start
flashing soon enough when they realize it is their own families the
government wants them to kill. In this respect, it will be a hard sell
for the government or corporate elitists. Soldiers don't make a very
big paycheck and their families are really all they have.

Inky, you are absolutely correct about the posse comitatus act being
rote--even to the point where elected officials dither over it.
(Nagin/Blanco vs. FEMA and the white house). It was meant to serve as
an important check in the balance of powers between the state and the
fed. So much for that.

Anyway, with this society deteriorating on several fronts, and
"exclusion" will become commonplace for most "WORKING" Americans due to
a variety of reasons--mostly economic--the resentment and animosity
fostered by the escalating class consciousness will only grow and
fester until it reaches critical mass...then..........???

I think what will be the deciding factor is those who really want to
work and contribute to society will not be able to because they will by
shut out of some very basic institutions and services such as education
and health care which in effect will leave them severely disadvantaged
hence, they will be forced to live in poor health and poverty. We are
steadily losing our right to own property thanks to the piece of ***
supreme court of ours that some of its judges should be hanging in
front of--from the end of a rope. We are losing our right to privacy
by leaps and bounds...it's really getting pretty scary

If there is a bright side to any of this; its our second amendment
which will once again prove itself to be a godsend from the founding
fathers of this country.


Be very suspicious of a ruling class that fears your weapons; there is
always a damned good reason why they do. Just ask Louis XVI.
