I disagree to the sentiment. I may loath fundamentalism but
they are clueless. I mean they elected Bush didn't they!
No, fundamentalists have this creepy way of keeping
society stagnate and backwards. The perfect regime in
the imperfect world of oil producers, and for putting
a uncouth President in the Whitehouse.
I can imagine some bureaucrat writing how Iran wasn't so bad,
atleast they pump the oil out and sell it, all we really want
from the region. Imagine if they actually did most of the
work up front, that'll only put our CEOs on down to refinery
workers out of a job.
No, the way I see this whole thing playing is like this.
Some bright young thing was hired by the US government
and proved that if the government gets really inept it
can basically do almost anything. Isn't walking first a
process of destablisation and the unbalanced falling
before the 'save' of a second leg.
Everything about Bush has been about burning the
old code and starting afresh. Without 9/11 Bush wouldn't
have squat, falling over himself wasn't enough he
needed something that destablised the world as well.
Without Iraq Bush wouldn't even be president.
When you start throwing yourself off balance sometimes
the second leg doesn't catch you and you lunge forward
uncontrollably. Afganistan invasion was predictable,
but all too effective. I mean using afgan ground troops
basically killed any real fight.
Oh, and yes I do believe there is Islamic terrorism,
I'm just not sure it's not mainly Mosaad. The fact
is the planners in washington wanted pictures
of US troops dying to change hearts and minds in
the region (not for the better or worse).
