Of course the 45-percent figure is poppycock, but for every slot in
all the U.S. medical schools there are more than 110 qualified
applicants.

So let any doctor quit, for any reason.

It's estimated that at least 15 percent are considered incompetent by
their peers. Maybe one of them is YOUR physician, the one you picked
as "your own doctor."
