Obama's essence

But the commentariat still doesn't understand that Obama is the worst
control freak to occupy high office in the history of the United
States. Obama is the Nanny to end all Nannies. Socialism is not a
political philosophy for him. It's the other way around. Control
freakery is Obama's basic personality. Socialism is just his way of
making it look good to his buds on the Left.

It is Aristotle who said, "The most perfect political community is one
in which the middle class is in control, and outnumbers both of the
other classes."

There is a difference between CONTROL and DISCIPLINE, however. And
stagecraft is the rule of the day during the George W. Bush
administration. Look, the amount of nonsensical George W. Bush, while
being president, filled volumes of books. Just look:

After all, Bush was the guy who had the least frequency of press
conferences during his presidency. After all, his stage master had to
have audience members to fill out questionaires with the right answers
just so they can be within an earshot. After all, Bush was the one
who ran this economy to the tank. Just think of Bush and associate
ENRON. That's how they did it. They broke the system of Law and
Order down with their special schemes, then they depended on
speculation on false promises to make a buck; they printed out money
like there's no tomorrow. Bush made a roll of toilet paper inside
millions of tons of materials that constituted the World Trade Centers
to fly faster than a bullet train towards the ground at Ground Zero on
September the 11th, 2001. Heck, I couldn't even jump to one third
that speed on a freeway that is free of cars within 10 seconds when
the only resistance is air resistance. (Yes, a Porsche 9/11 may be
able to hit 0-60mph within 5 seconds, but that's 1/3 that speed of the
traveling roll of toilet paper.) Just imagine having to hit 109 cars
just sitting stationary in front of you and try to hit bullet-train
speed within 10 seconds!

What else didn't they do? Call Marvin? Bush the magician.

Bush is epitomized by the ENRON phenomenon/thinking/experience, if
you'd ask me to sum it up in a sentence. Or in three words: Fake,
Phony, and Fraud--The absence of Law and Order. This is not Freedom.
Freedom depends on the "benign influence of good LAWS under a free
government," as George Washington put it.

You have nothing to lose but your Freedom.

And just what kind of liberty are you losing, exactly?

Freedom comes with a price. The price is responsibility and
accountability, personal responsibility and accountability. In God we
trust--in the Bush system we do not.

For this system to work again, we'd have to restore the sense of
FAIRNESS. It is Fairness and Protection, for the little guys, for the
investors. Freedom does not mean it is free for all. Freedom does
not mean free passes to the corporate bandits who profited quite
handsomely under the Bush/*** Cheney/Halliburton-no-accountability
regime.

It is President John F. Kennedy who said, "Our privileges can be no
greater than our obligations. The protection of our rights can endure
no longer than the performance of our responsibilities." I agree. In
talking about our Freedom, we are talking about rights. Though I
don't buy into the carbon-tax, you are free to breathe any air you'd
like, even industrial toxic fume for all that I care. That's your
freedom. That's your free choice. That's the action dictated by your
free will. Amen.

Remember the commercial: Got Milk?

Here's what I ask: Got ENRON?

Take something as small as Obama's need for a word-for-word script,

A chaotic system wouldn't benefit the majority and even scare away
foreign investors. That's what the DOW is. How many shares are owned
by Americans? And how many shares are owned overseas? The remnants
of the dispised neo-con faction want this country to fail and
everybody else to fail because they just lost power=LOST CONTROL, I
understand. Bwwwaaaaah.... Okay, to each his own. And they wanted
a perpetual war, which they refuse to either fight or pay.

Behind the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, there is the Memorial
Ampitheater. Inside the apse there is an inscription, a quote by
George Washington from address to the New York assembly in 1775.
"When we assumed the Soldier, we did not lay aside the Citizen." And
two sentences before that Washington said, "May your every wish be
realized in the SUCCESS of America." The Success of America.
Remember that.

The old military maxim is "order, counter-order, disorder." Another
useful rule is "never give a command that won't be obeyed." But that's
precisely what the Big O keeps doing. It's an odd way to liberate
those markets that cannot be controlled -- which is most of them --
but what the hell, it's a libertarian dream.

And when the economy recovers in spite of all that control freakery,
Obama will take the credit. In a way, he might deserve it.

9/11.
