Re: He's My President, But I Don't Have to Like It



I did not, and do not, like George Bush, either. During those dismal years, beginning with a
bungled election in 2000 and his resulting illegitimacy, I could say only, "Our fine nation
will survive the Bush presidency, but we will need years to recover from it." I was, for a change,
frighteningly correct.

President Obama inherited domestic and foreign situations confronting our nation which
are without precedent in our history. Obama will work through them and set us again on
a healthy and reasonably straight path, fully in keeping with our founding values and
heritage, but it will take time.

May nothing remotely like the Bush insanities ever again fall upon us.

May God bless those Americans who put their trust and faith in Him, and through them,
may God bless America.
