Spreading the Wealth Globally

Barack Obama is determined to engage in the sort of redistribution of
wealth that has long been the hallmark of the radical Left. As the
senator from Illinois famously told an Everyman questioner named Sam
Wurzelbacher - who will forever be known as "Joe the Plumber": "I
think that when you spread the wealth around, it's good for
everybody."

Business Week says otherwise. Income distribution in the US is the third
worse in the OECD.

I suspect that income distribution is similar to the distribution of
intellegence and the work ethic among the human population.

You suspect wrong. Income is affected by federal law, taxes, region,
employment and a host of other factors. Not all countries accept the
notion that a CEO can make more in one year than the average employee
can make in a lifetime. The Japanese certainly don't follow this
model.
