I think you are making too much out of the mole hill on the "57
states" comment. We all have had our "moments." However, only when
it becomes a pattern, which is a reflection of what is inside, that it
_will_ be important.
It is just like George W. saying that Africa is a "nation." And yet,
until very recently, George W. is still saying this:
"But oftentimes I'm asked: Why? Why do you care what happens outside
of America?"— George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., June 26, 2008
Of course, he only plays the role of a "chicken" when people stand up
to his bullying. Donald Trump has got it right with respect to
efficacy the "Bush doctrine" on North Korea. It is the same with
Georgia. This guy is all posturing and his own ego. He is all about
"struts and ducks," or strutting and ducking, as I would call it. It
is all good and dandy except this lessons this country's credibility,
endangers our security, and upset the global stability. You know,
George W. reminds me of the character of Fleur Delacour, as she struts
her way down the hallway. LOL!

However, I am more in line with the thinking of Scott McClellan: We
take this nation to war as an last option--otherwise, send your own
self and your own children!!!
I am just sick and tired of these warmongering chickenhawks, who want
everybody ELSE to pay for their charade. And here's the first
question that logically pops up in my mind, "Just who's the trouble
maker who migitated this conflict?" Brzezinski or the Bush faction of
the neo-cons?
And I saw a news footage yesterday of a man who was _about_ to drive a
close friend injured in a Russian bombing raid to the hospital, and he
blamed the Georgian president for being an idiot and this mess. So,
this has got me thinking, "Why would a normal human being say
something like that against his own country?" His friend's dying. It
is a life-and-death situation there--as serious as it gets. Besides,
who would know the on-the-ground situation better than a typical
Georgian citizen? It is like the spurt of the moment and conscience
thing. It is just like, "Why would numerous firemen inside the
burning buildings of the World Trade Center lied about the situation,
when their lives depended on the accuracy of their assessments?"
Hmmmm... it doesn't make sense at all.
Here's a couple more Bushism for you:
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never
stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and
neither do we."—Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004
"Let me start off by saying that in 2000 I said, 'Vote for me. I'm an
agent of change.' "—Washington, D.C., March 5, 2008
Orwell gave us the slogans "Freedom is Slavery" and "Ignorance is
Strength." These days the chic Left takes these two slogans of
Oceania very seriously. They will always tell you what eternal and
What I am afraid of, is, Animal Farm in action. That's why we need to

It does not really matter to these armies of nonsense if John Edwards
lies to us or if Barack Obama cannot recall how many states are in the
nation he pines to rule
We live in surreal, sad times. Our Living God, the only real thing in
our universe, has been consigned by the phantoms of cognitions to an
obscure footnote. Those values of integrity, history, reason, and
love which have raised us up have been abandoned. Integrity means
nothing when principles do not exist. History is wax in the hands of
the hourly report. Reason is an obstacle to politically correct
minds. Love cannot exist without values that last.
Okay, I am among the firsts on the Left to distance myself from John
Edwards when the tides were the other way around--apologizing and
linking McCain and Edwards. No, there's no apology. So, you can't
hang that on my neck! Haha...
But I will leave you with three quotes for thought:
"Truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it and ignorance may
deride it, but, in the end, there it is." -- Winston Churchill
"Truth is a river that is always splitting up into arms that reunite.
Islanded between the arms the inhabitants argue for a lifetime as to
which is the main river." -- Cyril Connolly
"We know the truth, not only by the reason, but also by the heart." --
Blaise Pacal
Just ask Mrs. Edwards. Love was supposed to obscure lust. Love was
supposed to be bigger than lies. Love between man and wife was
supposed to be something sacred in the Book of a Living God. But the
books have been burned. The lies have been naturalized -- "everybody
lies," remember? Lust of every sort -- lust for power, lust for cash,
lust for fame -- all these lusts have swamped our boats. We are
drowning in a gross indifference to truth.
So, are you still a Bush apologist on 9/11?
"But nothing has polished this great symbol of freedom like what
Americans have done for each other since the attack of September the
11th."

As John F. Kennedy said, "Ask not, what your country can do FOR YOU.
Ask what you can do for your country." Amen!

Invasion of Iraq began
