Former president's rage still so great
even loyal allies shocked by attitude

WorldNetDaily

A second source, a Democrat Party strategist who worked for one of the
early rivals to Obama and Hillary Clinton, told the Telegraph Bill
Clinton was keeping his distance because he did not believe the
Illinois senator could win in November, despite his strong standing in
current polls. Clinton called his prospects for victory "very
unhopeful."

"Bill Clinton knows the party will unite behind Obama, but he is
telling people he doesn't believe Obama can win round voting groups,
especially working-class whites, in the swing states," the strategist
said.

Clinton's anger over the campaign's outcome was confirmed by Joe
Klein, author of "Primary Colors," a fictionalized account of
Clinton's 1992 campaign, who said he had been told by Clinton friends
he was "very, very bitter."

Last week Clinton issued a statement, through a spokesman, saying he
"is obviously committed to doing whatever he can and is asked to do to
ensure Sen. Obama is the next president of the United States."

The former president and Obama are expected to meet this week for the
first time since the nomination was won. Campaign insiders have told
the Telegraph Bill Clinton's future campaign role is a "sticking
point."

"It's time for him to get over it or go off and do his charitable
work, said Klein. "He knows the rules of the road. What's going on now
is kind of strange. I think his behaviour is really, really shocking."

On this point, I agree. It is time for Bill Clinton to go and
concentrate on doing what he does best--doing charity work to help
others, making a tangible difference in their lives. The American
people will need whatever help necessary under this economy. And just
about any politician wouldn't do it. But put The people first--make a
positive difference in their lives. Get away from this cesspool of
bickering politics. Look at what we have here, a do-nothing
Democratic Congress. Ha?!? That's what I would suggest. Just who in
their right minds would want this job, exactly after the way that Bush
has messed it up, big time. Why volunteer to be the janitor for these
thankless people? But then this Sunday, the pastor talked about the
Spirit of Service and that being Christians we are obligated to
service. John 21:15--"Feed my lambs." We may not have the same idea
of "success" as Jesus would have called it. But still... the people,
the American people, are the most important. We are dealing with real
lives here. It is a mission, a calling, a commitment. Amen.

Or as Ron Paul said, "Unity is secondary to Principle."

So, I don't know. Really, to each his own. If the Democratic
oligarchy wanted to pick Obama, let it be.

This is a year of Conscience. And here's a quote from Obama himself:
on Hope, Change, Promise, a tactic borrowed from nobody but George W.
(the guy who the greatest free pass from the American people)
himself.

"When George Bush was elected, he held out the __PROMISE__ that this
would **CHANGE**, he raised the __HOPE__ of the region that our
engagement would be sustained... Almost eight years later, those hopes
have been dashed," said Barack Obama, May 23, 2008, at the Cuban
American National Foundation luncheon held in Miami, Florida.

Once again, this is all a matter of TRUST. Look at what a person
says; then observe his actions/deeds. I still have to make that leap
of faith in trusting whoever. And his pattern on accepting money and
goodies from whomever raises some serious ethical eyebrows. Hasn't
anybody learned anything from the Whitewater investigation? Only when
you are free and innocent will you be exonerated by public judgment.
