We're doomed

We're fighting in Iraq, spreading democracy, in order to get oil. It's like we're fighting for the poison to extermiate us.
The world will have to endi its growth in carbon emissions withing 7 years and become mostly free of carbon-emitting technologies in about 4 decades to avoid killing as many as a quarter of the planet's species says the Intervoernmental Panel on Climate Change.
What is ironic is that a problem that will affect every man, woman, and child on this planet should unite the world and fight a common problem. Instead we have religious nuts in the world fighting over their personal gods and oil. It's so comical you'd think this story is made for TV.
Well, man has always had war. And the death and destruction of a huge part of our population will definitely change things in the future. Maybe our future will emulate a Mad Max movie.
