The mighty sun is in charge of what happens on puny Earth -- not
humans or their fires.
First burn your furniture, then your insulation, then burn your food.
Then huddle in the burned out remains of your basement. It's god's way.

Now just think what it would be like if there were no atmosphere.
It would be damned cold.
Now think of what it would be like if the atmosphere contained only
oxygen and nitrogen.
It would be cold...too cold.
Now suppose that our atmosphere was about 95% Co2, like Venus' is.
It would be hot...too hot.
Now tell me that the density and composition of the atmosphere have no
important effect on the temperature of the Earth.
Of course they all play a role. It's an immense and
complex feedback system. No feedback system controls
to a zero deviation in it's intended output. Output
deviations produce the signal the feedback system
uses to control the output.
Moreover, the Sun is the primary energy source for
our Planet. When the amount of energy from the Sun
intercepting the Earth increases or decreases, the
Earth's atmosphere will respond to reduce the
attendant temperature rise or fall. Any
comprehensive book on atmospheric science will
explain how scientists think this process works.
Another contributor to the cyclic temperature
deviations on this planet are the planet's orbit,
precession and wobble.
When the weatherman starts to forecast weather
accurately days, weeks and months in advance then
I'll be inclined to think that some hysterical
climate scientists might know what they are talking
about. There are currently too many people with
super inflated egos and under trained minds who
savor power over others by creating hysteria over
one crisis after another.
I feel the same way about classical mechanics, general relativity and quantum mechanics. It's all wrong. Only Harley Davidson science matters.
