Actually, the only record is that the debt limit is being hit, again.
So maybe it is not a record. The entire national debt was only $780
Billion or so back during the Carter administration. Oh, but he gave
us MALAISE! And Clinton had balanced budgets. BUT HE GOT A BLOW
JOB! And the defecits were criticized during the Carter
administration, but now they DON'T MATTER!

The Republican record on fiscal responsibility is much worse than the
Democrats.
