I am a philosophical liberal, after John Locke and Thomas Jefferson.
The Bush war in Iraq is without any justification -- moral, legal,
philosophical, historical, or military. Cheney and Rove told Bush to order
his invasion of Iraq as a way to give his "legacy" some positive meaning and
substance. Every American life lost, every American life changed through
being wounded, every American dollar wasted -- all are simply scarifies on
the altar of Bush's fabricated presidency and its "legacy."
To paraphrase Churchill: Never in the history of human conflict has so much
been taken from so many for so little.
