U.S. April Death Toll in Iraq Passes 100

An al-Qaida-linked group, meanwhile, vowed to pursue a "long-term war
of attrition" in Anbar against U.S. forces and an alliance of Sunni
tribal leaders who have turned against the terror network.

The al-Qaida and the Iraqi insurgents most recent surge is
working.said a local al-Qaida Baghdad leader. " Praise Allah."

The killings of the Americans came as U.S. troops have been
increasingly deployed on the streets of Baghdad and housed with Iraqi
troops in joint security stations away from their heavily fortified
bases, raising their vulnerability to attacks.

Cheney is emphatic about Iraq. "Shalom. We're looking for victory
soon." he said. "And the oil will flow again to American refineries
and to Haifa, Israel like I promised when I encouraged the Invasion of
Iraq.... Danken G-t! ..

"Farshtaist? - You understand?"

The Iraq-to-Haifa oil pipeline could spur economic rebirth (April
18 ...)..
The passage of oil from Iraq to Israel through already existing
infrastructure could "transform Haifa into a new Rotterdam," said
Minister Yosef Paritsky .

" Du bis a Yid? Gey gezunt! - Are you Jewish? Go in good health!. The
Americans will take good care of us."

With Baghdad effectively in American hands, Israel and Jordan are
testing the political waters to see whether the Haifa-Mosul pipeline
could once again pump oil from Iraq to Israel's major port city.

According to a well-placed Israeli source close to the Jordanians, the
deal, which is partially contingent upon progress on the Palestinian
front, could open a new chapter in the cold peace between Israel and
Jordan.

Infrastructure Minister Yosef Paritsky said April 9 that he has
ordered his ministry to conduct a feasibility study for reopening and
possibly widening the 350 mile pipeline. He estimated that oil coming
straight from Iraq could reduce Israeli energy prices by 15 to 20
percent providing a much-needed break for the flagging economy.

Northern Iraq's oil fields are among the richest in the world, and
according to some sources have reserves as large as Saudi Arabia's

The increase in the death rate of U.S troops is an inevitable
consequence of surge - more U.S troops are there, more are being put
in dangerous situations = more deaths.
