Once again, the Democrats WON the 2006 November elections. The
American people elected the Democrats to take over both houses of Congress.
The House elected Nancy Pelosi to be the Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi
serves at the pleasure of the House of Congress. The members of Congress
serve at the pleasure of the American people. Nancy Pelosi and the newly
elected Democrats in Congress are doing exactly what the American people
want them to do.
The politics of smear, fear, and name calling by Bush's supporters is
no longer working but failing on the public. The cynicism of the Bush apologists
is being replaced by the Democratic politics of truth, confidence, and genuine
dialog.


More Bush Hypocrisy: Attacks Pelosi on Syria, but Approves GOP Visit

After blasting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria, the White
House has once again been caught in a web of hypocrisy. Many top
Republicans - including the Bush Administration itself - have long
worked with Syria without such criticism.

The most recent example is an officially approved delegation of three
Republican congressmen who visited Syria and met with its president
