As a matter of fact, district judges are elected in non-partisan
races, but the last time Thompson did run partisan, he was a Democrat.

You ever been to Sapulpa, Kenny boy? I have. I used to live near there
for almost 10 years. You'd be hard pressed to find a more Republican
area these days. The place has a very rural attitude and is filled to
the gills with Christers. Judge Spanky tried to sentence a guy to life
in prison for spitting on a cop. He was a tough law and order judge and
supposedly strong on family morals. Doesn't sound much like a Ruth
Bader Ginsberg Democrat to me, and as a matter of fact has quite a bit
in common with Judge Clarence "Long Dong Silver" Thomas, but you believe
what you want.
