Note all the posts yesterday about the Iraq civil war....


I posted on this yesterday and got nothing of substance. One leftist actually doubted that people of his ilk weren't going on and on about civil war after the bombing of Samarra (I guess reality is what you believe, facts be damned).

Another poster pointed out a drive-by shooting and four Marines killed by an IED.

Yet another leftist copied and pasted some article claiming that "experts" tell us the US is losing the war on terror.

But none are going on and on about civil war the way they were just a few months ago.

It's very possible that the death of Zarqawi has slowed things down a bit, and that the terrorists -- not freedom fighters -- will re-organize and continue their beheadings, mutilating of dead bodies, and other unspeakable horrors that violate the Geneva Conventions.

In the meantime, while the Left keeps hoping for failure in Iraq, the US and the coalition will continue to help the Iraqis build a free nation.
