1) Consuming a country's capital on wars that bring in no treasure actually
causes that country's currency to represent less value? Wow, what a
concept --- X many dollars representing less and less assets means those X
dollars are each worth less and less?
2) Borrowing instead of producing causing a country's currency to represent
less value? Wow, adding paper dollars of debt to the existing currency total
of X means more dollars representing the available assets?
3) Counting do-nothing jobs for political gain, jobs where one citizen
watches another for the government (e.g., Homeland, tax accountants,
immigration reports, etc.), as "producing jobs". Assuming implicitly that
those jobs are adding to the assets of the country, assets which support the
value of the currency total X. The economy is booming as shown by the
increase in dollars of the straw-man jobs.... or by an increase of producing
jobs?
Inflation concerns? Who woulda thunk.
-------------
Econ 101.... deficit spending and wars without sufficient spoils; each
stimulate an economy in an instable manner - i.e., leading to inflation.
Econ 101 - a course not taken by Hooverite Republican politicians, who
instead prefer to use their "common sense"
"It's only common sense that those chickens died because a witch put a spell
on them" Common sense political leader, Europe 1450/ Nigeria 2005/Washington
DC 2001.
