Intelligent Design

2005-11-10

I love "The Wizard of Oz" as much as the next man, but I have to
wonder about that crazy city that Dorothy came from. In recent days
the
news has been reporting on Kansas's plans to stop teaching Darwin's
theories of evolution. It seems like those crazy Kansas yanks don't
believe that we evolved from the apes. "There is no such thing as the
"big bang" and Darwin was a finch shagging big bearded weirdo".
Instead, they want to begin teaching a nice new little program called
"intelligent design", which basically means that they believe that
the universe was created by a higher intelligence. This higher
intelligence goes by the dyslectic doggy name of God. Excuse me if I
laugh, but, Hahahahahahaha. Flocking magic. Hehehehehe. This has made
my day. Do you mean to tell me that a higher intelligence is
responsible for all of the shit that surrounds us? Is God responsible
for global warming? Is god responsible for Saddam and Osama? Is god a
higher intelligence? No flicking way Jose. I know that Darwin did not
create Saddam, but it is obvious that evolution played apart in the
development of that twat. He started out as a little oil supping
amoeba
and finished up a giant murdering virus. If there is no theory of
evolution then does this mean that there is a master plan? Is there
some giant diary that god keeps in his pocket that says exactly what
you and I are going to do every second of every day? Of course there
isn't. If this universe really was created by a "higher
intelligence" then surely the universe is the discharge from a big
fart that came out of God's ass. The ozone layer disappearing is
really just the stench from God's poo floating off into the galaxy.
To be serious for a few lines; I believe that we should all be
educated
in the different theories of how the universe was created and how it
has evolved. That's cool. But you have to feel for all the poor
little Kansas Kiddies who are going to be brainwashed into thinking
that God created it all. They should have access to both theories and
be allowed to make their own minds up.
