Since you're a former lawyer – and I think Charles is also – if understood correctly – can either of you please explain something for me? I read on the Internet that under Canadian law, the one who commisssioned the photographs is the copyright owner.

Does that mean me (the photographer) or does it mean the model? It sounds to me like it's the model, because she published an ad on Craigslist, seeking photographers to photograph her.

So if the model commissioned the photos, that would negate your statment above. (You wrote that I own the original images.)
