Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom support the Pentax K-X.

So long as you have a late enough version. Support was added in Camera
Raw 5.6:

It works with with CS4 and Elements 8, presume support will also be in the
version used by CS5.

I really wish all the vendors would cut the shit and settle on a
standardised way of handling raw. As much as I hate Microsoft the way Adobe,
DxO, Canon et al lock themselves up is like they're preserving their
daughter's virginity, or something.

Hence DNG.
