I just acquired an adapter to make photographs using a microscope and
a PENTAX k mount camera, basically this device attaches to the k lens
mount and slides over the ocular lens of a microscope (basically
straight tube (no lenses in it) with a k mount on 1 end and a screw to
lick on the ocular of microscope. I understand how to mount on both
camera and microscope and how to read built in light meter in my k1000
and how to adjust shutter speed on camera body but how do I adjust ƒ
stop with out an aperture ring? I am guessing you focus using
microscope ocular while watching in finder. Any one familiar with this
device who could explain how to make adjustments neccissary to make
apuicture that would be usable?
It has a fixed aperture. EVs are adjusted using the shutter speed alone - or by adjusting the light source on the microscope.
