I started with cameras when I was about 8 years old- I inherited all my
uncle's camera's each time he bought a new one. In High school I bought a
Pentax SP1000 SLR and after it got ripped off when I moved to CA (home
robbery) I bought a K1000- my daughter has it now.
Next thing, digital cameras came along- I used an Olympus D260 the first few
yeas, then switched to a Panasonic Lumix 6.1 megapixel 10X zoom pocket
camera. I think its now time to go back to SLR now that these digitals have
broken under the $1,000 barrier.
I'm looking at a Nikon D60..... package deal with 2 lenses camera bag kit
for $799 (sans SD memory chip)
and I think Costco is closing out the previous model 10.2 megapixel model
the D40.
Pros?
Cons?
Other models to consider and why?
Thanks
Paul
Before making the actual purchase I would go an physically hold the
different cameras.... make sure they fit your hands, check the
ergonomics.... make sure you are comfortable with it...
