I think some of my own work is quite good but that is my personal
perspective on my own creativity. I would not dream of assuming my
pictures are good enough to be seen by others unless I was asking others
opinions and advice.

I suggest you use your option to ignore postings that don't interest you.

Perhaps the OP is confused. He was looking for art.photography, but found
alt.photography instead...


It is not me who is cofused but those who thinks that rubbish snapshots are
of interest to the group. As I pointed out in my OP this group is for
people to discuss photographic.technique, technology and art. If people
must post links to galleries, at least make sure the photos are of quality.
If unsure ask opinion and do not assume they are worth viewing.
