No they don't - a couple of retired guys have written a book that
includes a chapter with suggestions about how to deal with alien
encounters. "Whether they exist or not is not the issue" according to
one of the authors. abc15 said "Not one fire department we found
admitted to using the guide for training".

Even if fire departments were training for this sort of scenario it
doesn't make it any more likely to materialise. Remember back in the
50s when everyone was told to "duck and cover" because any day now the
evil commies would start a global nuclear war? So when did the war
happen? I must have missed it.

Heh. Hi, Sinner. But as far as the old '50s Atomic Cafe precautions,
they did no harm and they at least gave us a sense of having *something*
to do if It happened.
