Do the math.
One pixel per inch is one inch square.
Or one square inch.
One hundred pixels per inch, and they are .01" square.
Not to be confused with .01 square inch.
But you get the picture.
Or maybe just .001 square inch of it.
You have to define the context within mathematic notation,or
mathematically
it's not accurate.
