In article <Amsxi.88563$dI1.6458@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, SteveB
oldfart@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx says...
The other day, I bought a box about the size of a cigar box at a yard sale.
We don't really have yard sales in the UK - instead everyone parks their
cars in a field on a Sunday morning for a "car boot sale" ('boot' being
the UK term for 'trunk'). Obviously this requires a little more effort
than just emptying the contents of your garage into the yard. Also our
weather is generally less reliable than yours, so it can be a muddy
experience.
It was full of dies. Although it had a lot of duplicates, it had a lot of
standard sizes from 3/4 on down. All had American brands on them, and look
like they would be decades old. It was ten bucks, and I got two of the
chucks. Don't know the name of the chuck for a tap.
ITYF 'handle' is the technical term. :-)
