I've just tried to work out which versions of ACR work with which
versions of Elements. Perhaps other can help with this, because it
would probably be useful to have a simple record of this. I think:
PSE2 - none.
PES3 takes ACR 2.x to ACR 3.6
PSE4(Windows) takes ? to ACR 3.7
PSE4(Mac) takes ? to ACR 3.7 & ACR 4.0
PSE5(Windows) takes ? to ACR 3.7 & ACR 4.0
What should replace the "?"
ACR 3.7 added Nikon D40 NEF & Pentax K10D PEF.
ACR 4.0 added Panasonic DMC-FZ8.
All ACRs from 2.4 onwards support DNG, so users who can't use ACR 3.7
or ACR 4.0 can still handle those new cameras via the DNG route.
