Legal issues with Photography of non-professional sports?

I have been taking pictures of players in soccer games for children 6
to 12 and have been researching selling them online to family members
and such. Are there any legal issues with me doing such? Say for
example the parents of child A do not want their son photographed or
do not want any one to be able to purchase a picture of their child
playing sports except for them selves.

Is this a legitimate concern? Or is selling pictures of sports
players in public areas free game for anyone and there are no legal
issues of me selling their pictures on line to anyone. I am
photographing soccer games and it is quite difficult to get only one
player at a time. And I would rather not print up a bunch of pictures
and take time to show each set of parents, to see if they would like
to order any pictures. I would rather let them browse the photographs
online and pick those they want printed and have them delivered to
their home.

If you have any experience in this, I would love to hear from you.
