I notice red-eye in many shots I take of other folk, but never in any photos

reducing red eye. This photo is of two women, one with normal vision,
and one blind from birth. The woman with normal vision has no red eye
in the photo, but the blind woman has significant red eye.
Apparantly, the red eye reduction had no effect on her eyes.
