Many thanks for all your replies. Having weighed it up I think that I
was ultimately looking for an excuse not to go digital. I've had a
look around at some of the 35mm EOS bodies and the 30V looks like the
one to go for - particularly if I can get one when I'm over in the US!
Does anyone have any positive/negative experiences with this body?
