Hi stan thanks - ive read all the reviews possible - my eyes hurt at
this stage and i can only find 2 slight differences - i am lookin for
some end user information..... i.e : what real people actually think
thanks
brian
I have the Nikon D50. From a handling point of view the only real difference
is that things like metering mode, AF-mode etc. can only be set through the
menus. On the D70 you have extra buttons to set these directly.
White-balance, iso-speed, exposure compensation etc. can be set on the D50
directly also.
As i am an amateur i did not think these extra options justified the extra
cost of the D70. Going into the menu allways gives you the last used option
so i use the metering setting, leave the menu, take a picture and when
pressing the menu button i have the metering menu again so it's not that
much slower.
Just my two (euro)cents
Tnx,
Guido
