Yes .. there are a few ..

1) Canon's software is supposed to allow PTP, but I've never gotten it to work well (350D - 20D) - but hey, give it a go, because I've not tried it since I began using Breeze - so my lack of success with Canon software may have been OE (Operator Error) (http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Cameras/Digital_SLR/index.asp?ComponentID=164045&SourcePageID=25108#2 ) ... you will NOT see the 300 listed .. choose the 350D instead -> Support (top)-> Software Downloads (at LEFT) -> FORM (Cameras) -> you WILL see 300D -> Choose 350 INSTEAD-> FORM [OS] & [Language] -> Download ALL 7 softwares. Install. These are the latest - and according to the PDF Manual - they SHOULD work with the 300 D as well.

2) Breeze's PTP is very good and works quite nicely AND IS MY CHOICE! .... here's the write-up from their site ( http://www.breezesys.com/)

3) These are mostly PTP's for the Linux OS platforms (http://ptp.sourceforge.net/)

* Allow my clients to view images while I continue shooting.
* Automatically download images directly to my hard drive while shooting.
