memory card, the better for the 30D buffer memory. What spped CF card
would I need to look for to get the most out of continuous shooting
without filling up the buffer memory on a 30D?

You're better off to be more discriminating in your shooting, rather
than just holding down your finger and hoping you get something good in
there.
