I think the OP means that if he attaches the 2.5x telephoto adapter with the
37mm thread at the camera end it presents at 55mm thread into which the 55mm
lenses could be screwed.
The first concern must be whether the two 55mm threads are the same depth
and pitch. If they are not you may find that the lenses either won't screw
on, or worse will screw on and then bind so that you can't seprate them,
potentially ruining the threads on both 2.5x telephoto and the macro lens.
The second problem is the optical one. I have no idea what the answer to
this is, but if you can borrow the lens you are thinking of buying why not
just try. What I suspect will happen is that you will be unable to get
the camera to focus, but that is just a guess.
