Ruthless beatings are welcome, as long as you identify the specifics of what sucks.

OK I'll give my honest opinions. Overall a little bit on the boring side but some very interesting stuff too. I think the composition is where improvement could be made. They are mostly very beautiful scenes so you have an eye for this. It's funny often I'll try many different angles and framings but the first one is usually best but I still think it's worth experimenting a lot and the editing process is very important too. Looking at them with squinty eyes or reduced to small thumbnails helps and playing with cropping can be a good learning exercise too.

Another trick is to think in terms of subject & background so those work together interactively somehow and make it very clear even in thumbnail view. The sculpture and sky works this way. The boxes in mist seem to have some meaning and are communicating and supporting each others reasons to exist.

Brick wall
Pleasant, well done.

Clouds
Boring. Try more clouds and I'm sure a better composition could be found.

Daylily
Boring, centered but not bad if illustrating that particular flow, just nothing really captivating.

Sculpture
Wow, much more beautiful sky here. Polarizer?

Children sculpture
Yawn, ugly background and the art itself is nice and nicely framed but.

Sunset trumpet flower
Composition doesn't work for me even though the lighting is dramatic and beautiful.

Back of stop sign
Great technique but not quite enough.

Pink hibiscus
Nice but not quite sharp enough.

Red rose
Almost perfect but it it necessary to be that saturated?

Baloons
Again beautiful setting but composition isn't that great & it's too dark for my tastes. Crop the bunny on the right!

Orange ballon cropped
Very nice but a bit too simple.

Baloon flames
Too centered, composition isn't interesting.
Second one is better composition.

Purple pink tubes
Composition is cluttered.

Balloons
The company logos spoil these. The cylindrical one is fascinating though.

Baloon reflection
Too symmetrical composition.

Balloons
The company logos spoil these.

Dark & light baloons
Nice but the composition is too centered again.

Boxes in mist
Very cool.

Butterfly
Too busy but gorgeous colors again. Probably would be better without the trees in the background.

Bee on flower
Too centered, not quite sharp.

Fall leaves
Nice

Railroad crossing
Well done but a little boring only because of the grey sky.

I hope these help, it was interesting enough and beautiful for me to spend the time on! I certainly don't claim to be able to make perfect award winning pictures but I feel I improve with practise and thought.

Best regards,
