SLR w/option to save/restore entire environment?

I guess I'm going with the D70. The price is right and the reviews seem to
favor it.

But it just occurred to me that one of my main gripes with the 990 was
difficulty/slowness in setting up a picture taking environment.

The 990 would save some settings, but not *all* and my recollection is that it
wasn't that quick or easy to recall them.

Always seemed to me like I should be able to save *all* the settings just like
they are right now and then be able to recall them quickly from the root of the
menu or, preferably, via a thumb wheel. Two or three environments would be
plenty for me.

Seems so obvious to me that maybe all the current SLRs offer it.

Anybody know if any do - and which?
